We went in last night and the place was extremely busy. Val greeted us right away and found us a perfect high top behind the bar since we were just doing drinks and apps. Our bartender Ashley was fantastic. I requested a drink not on the menu and she made it perfectly. Even though it was super busy she kept checking in on us. We got a couple apps that came out quickly and we're very good. Another server Maggie helped clear our table, get boxes for our leftovers, refilled waters all while having a smile on her face.
We went for lunch, which made it easier to get a table. There can be wait times in the evening. They only take reservations for large parties, I think it is seven or more.My friend had the swordfish and said it was very good. I had small salad with seasoned steak tips. Their house dressing is bottled and at the table. It is tasty. No drinks, no dessert. They offer bread rolls when your server comes to your table. Our waitress was very nice. Will definitely come again.
The Nutty Salmon was to die for! Plus Val's a real hard working mother. The staff she has are great young, smart minded hard workers too. Thank you all involved in making a Great Mother's day! P.S. please add 2 more pieces of coconut Shrimp. Instead of 1, for the nutty salmon. But It was soooooooo! GOOD!
Val was so gracious during the planning of a funeral meal I helped my daughter wi in th after her dad’s service. Aside from the food and room being perfect, Val personally checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. She made a very difficult day much easier for our family.
My daughter had her baby shower at Vals this past Sunday and all I can say was how beautiful everything was. The food was fabulous. The room was set up so elegantly, I would definitely highly recommend Val’s if you are celebrating any occasion.
We booked with Val to have a small, intimate wedding reception after our elopement this weekend. Booking with Val was extremely easy, she was quick to answer, and extremely kind and helpful on the phone. The reception itself could not have gone better! The staff was hard working, the venue was beautiful, and the food was absolutely delicious. Val’s staff was extremely helpful with some of our guests who had extreme allergies. I would recommend to anyone looking to book a small room function or any other kind of event!
Recently placed a large group take out order ahead of time for hosting friends coming from out of town and had a fantastic service experience. Val and her team went above and beyond with their service and quality of food. Our guests absolutely loved their meals and were taking home any leftovers they had (which is a testament to the quality). Thank you for the phenomenal service! As someone who just moved back to the area we couldn't have received a warmer welcome.
I recently had my daughters baby shower at Val’s Restaurant and I was so pleased how PERFECT everything was- the food the service the venue! From the beginning I knew Val was going to take care of everything. Val is very attention detailed, she made sure the tables were placed exactly where they should be and while decorating even offered suggestions which was extremely helpful! The room looked absolutely gorgeous- the food was beyond delicious and every one of my guests complimented the food and the service. There were plenty of options to choose from as far as food. The waitstaff were professional and helpful and kind. The whole day was flawless. Many of my guests said they will definitely return to Val’s. 10 stars! ⭐️
A wonderful dinning experience, I had the Ribeye, rare and delicious. They had a two man band at the bar which made a great background. Parking was easy making handicap entry a breeze. Will go back.
Great little Italian restaurant kind of in the middle of nowhere. We had ribeye and Steak tips both were very good but the desserts were to die for. Chocolate Moose was smooth with great flavor the other was sea salted caramel Gelato 😋 let's just say my friend got more to go...Great cozy restaurant. Would recommend it.
